THE CONTENT
Health economic evaluations play a central role in today’s access and reimbursement decisions. Payers need clear evidence on value for money, and pharma teams must understand the concepts behind this evidence to communicate effectively and make informed decisions.
This course provides a practical introduction to the essential elements of health economic evaluations. You will learn the basics of QALYs, utility measurement, ICERs, cost categories, and value-for-money assessments, with simple examples showing how they are calculated and how payers use them.
You will also gain an understanding of the main modelling approaches used in health economics — decision trees and Markov models — including how they work and when they are used.

If a registrant is unable to attend the scheduled course, they can avoid any cancellation charges by providing a suitable replacement participant.
