About the expert:
Dr Mussa Arvani, MD, MBA, expert trainer of Building Influence in Medical Affairs, is a physician and senior Medical Affairs leader with more than 15 years of international experience across Charité, Novartis, Shire, Sanofi, and Roche.
Founder of MAestro Medical Solutions, a boutique consultancy working with pharmaceutical and academic organisations on Medical Affairs strategy and capability building.
He has held every role the course is built around: from MSL in ophthalmology at Novartis, to leading the MSL organisation for General Medicines across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria at Sanofi, to heading the medical group for Immunology, Infectious Diseases, and Ophthalmology at Roche.
Member of the Leadership & Management Competency Team of the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS), lectures in healthcare management at IU International University of Applied Sciences and holds a professorship at CBS University of Applied Sciences.
His current work and publications explore how scientific expertise can be translated into judgement, organisational influence, and better decision-making across pharma and clinical practice.
