Luc De Langhe

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Luc is co-founder of the firm and, in addition to his corporate responsibilities, manages new product development and business development. He has more than 30 years of commercial and service development experience in the pharma industry and life sciences professional services, of which 25 years internationally.

Prior to C.E.L.forpharma, Luc was Vice President Europe with Decision Resources, a US-headquartered healthcare research and consulting company. Former functions include roles at Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis), Eli Lilly and Management Centre Europe. Luc holds a M.Sc. in Bio-engineering and Postgraduate master degrees in Hydrologic Engineering and Business Administration.

 

Edouard Demeire

Edouard Demeire

Co-Founder

Edouard is co-founder and contributes to the firm’s corporate strategic decisions. As Managing Partner of PRISM he has almost 30 years of experience in research, teaching as well as consulting to executives in the pharma industry. His knowledge of the industry spans the whole globe and most therapeutic areas.

Edouard is Visiting Professor at CEDEP (INSEAD) and other business schools and has run hundreds of workshops for big pharma (Roche, Novartis, Eli-Lilly, AZ, etc.), as well as for many mid-sized players.  He has developed Commercial Excellence tools and co-authored articles and the book GOOD PHARMA: How Marketing Creates Value in Pharma (Corstjens & Demeire, 2014). Edouard holds a M.Sc. in Econometrics.

Annelies Swaan

Director Business Operations

Managing a team of operational staff, Annelies, who joined in 2008, is responsible for the planning and implementation of all business processes in course delivery and marketing communications. Together with Inge, she is responsible for achieving revenue and EBIT objectives with existing courses.

She holds a Master in Translation and a Postgraduate master degree in Business Administration.

Inge Cornelis

Director Commercial Communications

Inge joined in 2017 and is responsible for marketing content, sales and developing customer relations through personal communications. Together with Annelies, she is responsible for achieving revenue and EBIT objectives with existing courses.

Prior to C.E.L.forpharma, Inge worked for 9 years at Decision Resources Group and 5 years at Materialise NV in account and project management roles, most recently as a Global Key Account Director. Inge holds a Master in Science of Engineering and a Postgraduate master degree in Business Administration.

Britt De Cat

Corporate Administration Officer

Britt joined in 2013 and is responsible for corporate administration, which comprises finance & accounting, personnel administration, ICT, insurances & legal matters, etc. She is also assisting management with corporate projects. Finally, Britt is responsible for updating C.E.L.forpharma’s website and for the preparation and delivery of courses on an as-need basis. 

Britt holds a Master of Science in Educational Studies and a Bachelor in Business Management: Accounting & Taxes.

Sarah Nissen

Senior Programme Coordinator 

Sarah joined in 2015 and is responsible for all the communication with course participants, from registration up to post-course correspondence. She covers our courses and is in charge of all practical organisation, including contact with expert faculty, hotels, and other suppliers. 

With a background in hotel management and translation, she holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Iowa with a major in Spanish and Latin American Studies.

Maarten Mullens

Digital Marketing Associate

Maarten joined the team in February 2016 and is responsible for C.E.L.forpharma’s e-mail marketing. Based on statistical and qualitative information, he develops the campaigns from A to Z. He is also a back-up for the course delivery function.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven and a Postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing and Communication from the EHSAL Management School in Brussels.

Kelly Machtelinckx

Programme & Project Coordinator

Kelly joined in 2018 and is, together with her colleague Sarah, responsible for all communication with participants, the expert faculty, hotels and other suppliers. She covers our courses and is in charge of all practical and logistic organisation.

With a background in project coordination and education, she holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Linguistics (languages English and Italian) and a Master degree in Multilingual Communication. Besides English and Italian, Kelly speaks fluently Dutch and French.

Lindsey Habets

Marketing & Database Administrator

Lindsey joined our marketing team in early 2019 and is responsible for the implementation of several critical tasks in marketing communications: the follow-up of information and brochure requests, updating our customer database, recording and reporting statistics, etc.

With a professional background in marketing administration, Lindsey holds a Bachelor degree in Communication Management and speaks fluently Dutch, English and French.
